First of all I would like to thank everyone who came to Fetish Evolution and made the weekend absolutely amazing! It was an honour to host such an incredible party and you all made it so memorable. Thanks also to Miguel and Emma for organizing everything and inviting me to host! I'll be writing a full report on that event and I still need to report on SF as well. There was a lot of debauchery to report and I'm just so exhausted from all the travel and partying I'm not quite up to reporting it yet!

I'm in London since yesterday but getting here was not easy! As someone who had to fly into Heathrow Terminal 5 yesterday, I can say first hand how much it fucking BLEW. Had I known it was going to be opening day, I would have booked on another airline.

First there were hours of delays for British Air at Dusseldorf due to the issues at Heathrow (I got lucky though because all the flights before mine were cancelled), so I insisted on entry into the BA Lounge there. No problem as I got wasted on champagne, and ate about a million mini sausages which I've come to regret. Then there was the hour flight--followed by the 1.5 hour sit on the tarmac at Heathrow because there was chaos at Terminal 5, during which the happy champers buzz wore off. Then there was the additional hour waiting for my luggage. I purposely chose a flight that would get in way before London rush hour, but by the time I arrived I was in the thick of it, so a £75 cab ride followed, which really finalized the soberization. Plus, the session I had booked for yesterday cancelled on me 2 days prior (my ONLY reason for flying out yesterday instead of today), so I was already not in the best of moods since I could have stayed in Germany and done more shooting. Plus I landed to find out that my shoot for TODAY was cancelled as well. Nice, eh? So basically all of my paid gigs here in London cancelled which is amazing since I love flying thousands of miles on my own dollar to have people flake, especially when the US dollar is at an all-time low. SWEET!

So, once I got to my friends Vanessa and Derrick's place in Brixton last night I could do nothing but get reblitzed and pass out.

So now I'm trying to motivate myself to get up to Holloway Road so I can do my fitting with Atsuko for Sunday's shoot, which makes up for all the cancellations! Atsuko and Simon are the best! Also I have a lot of close and cherished friends here so seeing them will be nice!

So, a couple of days ago, I decided to give my old trainer a second chance after she said she was sorry and was really gung-ho about scheduling with me and working really intensely before I left for Europe...so I tried to work it out. What happened? I gave her my schedule and it started with "I'll get back to you in an hour, then after an hour, it was another 45 minutes, then it turned into a few days, then it was "sim card" issues, then nothing... Always a fucking excuse with this girl--someone I'm giving A LOT of $$ to to discipline ME. I mean, what the hell? So I complained about her to the gym who has no idea what's going on with her and she's leaving in April apparently. Whatever, I shouldn't have to hold my trainer's hand. So I got a new trainer who I was thinking about training with for a while. He's great!!! Stretches me before and after training, listens to me better and pushes me harder. Of course, he's twice the fucking money. LOL. I guess I'm like the businessman who seeks the dominatrix (me). You work all the time being the boss and the one in control, so occasionally you HAVE to give up control to someone else in order to stay sane. So maybe having a dude who can keep a fucking schedule and will push me harder is just what I need. I can't have someone giving me orders who I have lost all respect for. LOL. Anyway, I'm still editing away. Here's a few samples of what's to come in the next few weeks...

OH!!! LOL! And in ridiculous news, after working out today me and Nicholas went to a tanning salon!!!! LOL...don't panic. I'm not the tanning type but I am Polish/Russian/Eastern Euro and I do have to be careful to stay pale becaues I tan really easily and really dark naturally. I prefer being pale and don't like tanning because I feel I stay looking younger than my years by avoiding the sun. But it is the DEAD of winter in NYC and I am absolutely TRANSPARENT. I look ill, my veins show through my skin I'm so white. So I just tanned for 7 minutes so I could see some of the muscle definition I've been working so hard for. I put a towel over my face though because I do NOT want to get wrinkles! It was weird--I've never done it before. I felt like Patrick Bateman. A true American Psycho moment. HA!

So much to do soooo little time...

I have been editing updates NON stop for while I'm in Europe so I hope you guys appreciate it! There's a ton of sexxxxxxxy stuff coming up! There will at least be 2 regular member's updates per week while I'm out of town and if I can manage it without pulling all of my hair out--I will try to throw up the occasional mid-week bonus update, but I can't guarantee it. I still have a few more updates to edit plus I have a couple of shoots, some sessions, final business tax prep, my 5 year-first date anniversary dinner, and to top it all off Ruby Luster arrives on Monday (she's flying with us to Germany for Fetish Evolution on the 19th) -- so she will be keeping me distracted as well!!!!

Did I mention about a thousand times that I'm hosting and performing throughout the weekend? Fetish Evolution is March 21-24 and you better be there!!!! I'll be wearing a stunning custom Atsuko Kudo ensemble for the main event and I just received a big box of GORGEOUS custom Vex Latex that I'll be wearing throughout the weekend. Both are my absolute FAVORITE latex designers and I'd be naked without them (I prefer my 2nd skin to being fully nude). As a bonus, I'll be walking for HW Design, another favorite, at the main event (they are the awesome peeps that made the outfit I'm wearing for the event flyer). Talk about a trinity of pervy talent!

I'll have to try to do a write-up about my weekend in San Fran but right now editing and prepping for my trip is my priority!

I just got back from San Fran tonight. I kinda wish me and the boy had more time to wander around the city, even with minimal obligations. It was a lot of fun to re-connect with old friends and meet and make new ones. For me, that's always my favorite part of traveling to and performing at events all over the world. The party's just an excuse to hang out with friends I don't often get to see. I always joke that I see my NYC friends more in OTHER cities then I do when I'm at home!

I'll write more about my trip tomorrow because I had such an excellent time with some really good people. It's very nice to be home though because I'd be lying if I said my experience was 100% positive. I'll just chalk it up to a "lesson learned" and it's not a mistake I'll ever make again. I believe I handled the situation as professionally as I could, but if I'm unhappy I'm not going to keep my mouth shut and I only give as much respect as I get and is deserved. I also don't like surprises! I'm low-maintenance but I'm also fiercely stubborn, so when I get pushed too far, I push right back. Rather than focusing on the negative, I'll write about the positives after I do my updates and get some rest. I'm too lazy for links and pictures right now :P

I'm really looking forward to hosting Fetish Evolution in less than two weeks. I'm really honoured that they asked me to headline the weekend. It's honestly my favorite multi-day event. I'm also stoked to be doing a film with Marquis with some of my favorite models. The Marquis clan have always been really wonderful and supportive and any excuse to shoot with them is a good one!

The only things I'm dreading about going to Europe and the UK are the US dollar sucking (the shopping there is soooooo good and all of my favorite designers are over there) and the inability to be able to go to the gym daily since I'm either staying in a hotel without one or with friends. If anyone has any suggestions on something I can pack with me that's LIGHT and will fit in my suitcase PLEASE email me!!! Light but effective is key since I'll have 200 pounds of gear with me already!

I'm also coming to terms with the fact that my iMac is just too slow to deal with my workload. I'm considering ordering a new MacBook Pro this week so I will have it while I'm in Europe so I can blog daily, edit photos when I have a break (which will lessen my stress before I leave) and keep in touch with my site better. The thought of not being able to check up on things daily has me freaking out! But, of course the laptop with all the extras I need comes to a little over 4K (damn you Apple)!!! So, I have to figure out my priorities--shopping in Europe for fetish gear or a shiny new laptop?

Also, March 16th is the 5 year anniversary of me and Nicholas getting together. I'm taking him out to a fancy dinner the night before. I know a lot of guys don't want to know about a model's SO but without him, I probably wouldn't be as successful as I am--I was just starting out when we started dating and he was extremely supportive of my career. A lot of guys can't handle their girl naked on the internet/etc., and give them a lot of shit and act wildly jealous. I've seen it happen SO many times. So I got lucky--and in effect--so did you! HA!

MRI, Updates, Europe, Firings, Shopping & YAY FREEDOM!

So I got the results for my MRI back and I don't need any surgery--it's the issue they thought it was and I just need to do some physical therapy. Speaking of things concerning my physique, I fired my personal trainer today. She was really awesome in the beginning but she's been canceling or rescheduling on me WAY TOO MUCH. Today was the last straw. Canceling a training appointment on the same day is ridiculous and if I did the same thing I'd be charged $100 for it. I'm a very busy girl, and I make sure to schedule times that I'm free to workout--in fact I plan my entire schedule around it. I like having a regimen and I base my workouts on a schedule, focusing on different things each day. When she cancels on me, she fucks up my entire workout plan, not to mention it's very rude. If it was once or twice, I could understand but it's become a habit. I've been working my butt off, and my fitness goals were set for first San Francisco, then my European trip, both happening this month. The fact that she's canceled my last 3 sessions on the same day during a time when I have strict deadlines and goals finally has me fed up. So, I'll just go solo and save myself $100/hr. LOL. If I start to slack, I'll just have to find someone new. *sigh*

Anyway, lots of updates coming. I may have to switch back to 2 updates a week this month because I'm traveling so much, but will try to keep it at 3 if I can. I'll have to see how much I can edit before I head to Europe on the 19th....

I had a lazy weekend--on Saturday I went and got my hair cut by my friend Jake, then me and the boy hooked up with the fabulous http://www.myspace.com/rajaonmyspace " target="_blank">Sutan for brunch and shopping. I went into Burberry, which I generally was never into but my interest was piqued when I noticed their fall ads. Everything was very fetishy, so I had to check it out. Holy shit, I could go into debt there. I tried on these AMAZING opera length leather gloves that zipped all the way up to my armpits. They were pure sex. They were also $1,000. So I went across the street to Vosges and drowned my sorrow in chocolate.

But in most important news: YAY FREEDOM!!!!!

Thanks to all the people who donated and spread the word and the European media who actually covered this. Much to my disgust, NONE of my media contacts in the USA from my days of freelancing in journalistic media bothered to get back to me at all about possibly covering Diz' situation in Dubai--a situation that could (and has!) easily happen to any US citizen planning on making a trip to the UAE. No response from people I've known for years and have worked for in the past. It really opened my mind to just how blind the US media can be to world issues. I guess that goes to show that some relationships are solely superficial, I suppose. Shame that.

Please send cloning technology!! I had my MRI for my knee yesterday, no results yet but I suspect everything is fine since I've been going about my daily abuse of my body (via workout) with no ill effects. The closed MRI machine is really LOUD, even with earphones -- anxiety-inducing loud, which is odd since I'm not prone to claustrophobia or anxiety in any way, shape or form. But being in that machine is a very odd sensation and not being able to move makes it even weirder! Plus, my knee felt like it was twitching every now and again during the scan. I'm kinda glad my head was outside the tube! It was the polar opposite of sensory deprivation!

Well, I'm off to prep tomorrow's update very quickly, then off to bed to sleep a few hours so I can begin the daunting task of rifling through 50,000 receipts from last year and the first quarter of this year to give my poor accountant tomorrow at 6. I can't believe I put this off until now (I even switched my meeting from this past Monday so I'd have more time). I'm gonna have to power through it tomorrow--thank god I only have one appointment and my trainer cancelled. It's almost 3AM now and I was on the go all day (shoot, session, training). I need 5 more of me. I thrive when I procrastinate though! I'll relax when I'm dead! Since it's now technically the 29th--Happy Leap Year!

Knees Bees Knees Taxes Schmaxes

I went to the doctor today about my left knee that's been buggin' me for the past few days. Anyway, there doesn't appear to be anything horribly wrong with it, but just in case they're sending me for an MRI tomorrow morning. What the doctor expects is that my kneecap goes slightly off track--due to my outer thigh muscles being a bit stronger than my inner thigh muscles. So the solution is to send me to physical therapy. Which is funny, because this is the exact same problem I had as a ballet dancer and I went through the SAME physical therapy 10 years ago. LOL. Ballet destroys your body!!!!!!! The good news is I can just take Anti-inflammatories and still go to the gym. I'll just have to have my trainer alter my workout a bit to make my inner thighs stronger. My legs have always been really muscular, so I'm kinda not shocked this has happened again. Just cross your fingers that they don't find something awful on the MRI tomorrow! It just sucks though because I'm about to do a lot of traveling and I can't exactly see a physical therapist while I'm all over the place!!! I loathe having any sort of physical hinderance--it reminds me that I'm not super-human! BAH!

I'm working around the clock to get updates edited for while I'm traveling--it's a lot of great stuff! I'm crazy busy though since I'm pretty much booked up until I leave as well. Plus, I have to go through my pile of completely unorganized receipts for 2007 and the first quarter of 2008 to give my accountant on Friday. I keep putting it off because I just can't deal with it! I need to be more organized when it comes to that aspect of my business! Wish me luck!
