German arrival...

I guess last I left off with us landing in Cologne on 3/20 with baggage woes...so once we filed a missing bag report, Emma picked us up and we headed towards Essen. HA, she was driving so fast on the Autobahn it was scary! Especially since our bags were flying around the back of the van and me and Ruby were facing backwards! Emma and Nicholas just laughed at us in the front. It was a good distraction for Ruby, who was really upset about her bag :(

We arrived at the hotel and since it was around 8AM, a couple of people were downstairs eating breakfast--namely Steenie and Bob K. We checked in, I washed my face, and me and the boy ran downstairs to join our friends. Later we ran into Anastasia Pierce and Liam, so all of us made an excursion to the grocery store for provisions. Fetish Evolution is always on Easter weekend which means stores are all closed pretty much Good Friday-Easter Monday, so we had to stock up on food and booze!

After grocery shopping we all had an appointment at the fabulous shoe maker, LA PIAZZA. Ruby was so upset she didn't want to go but I forced her. Shoes always make a girl feel better! Mathias was really sweet and made us all coffee, then we looked at the shoes! Most of the stuff is made custom-to-order so there wasn't much of an "on shelf" selection but there were quite a few styles we tried on. I wound up splurging on these knee high rubber boots since they were my size, and I had a very similar pair stolen many years back from an ex-roomate who fancied herself a dominatrix (I use that term lightly here). They specialize mostly in custom platforms -- I'm not so much into platforms anymore but La Piazza really has some crazy sexy extreme ones. I think it's the fact that they still maintain the arch and the stiletto on them is still so thin and pointy. Unfortunately they didn't have my size in stock in the styles I wanted. HAHA, anyone want to order some shoes for me? Mathias has my measurments! *wink*

Then we basically just spent the day running into all of our old friends--Emily Marilyn, Bianca Beauchamp, Martin Perreault, Jean Bardot--and so many others! Just a relaxing night hanging out with good friends before the craziness began *ok, there was SOME craziness (and a lotta jetlag)*!

The internet depresses me sometimes...

I'd like to personally thank the douchebag(s) who like to download my site and put it up on sharing sites for free. It's awesome, I'm so glad I work hard and put all of my creativity and money into doing something that I love just to have people give it away for free. It really sucks and makes me very sad, especially when it's huge chunks of my work. If you really like a model and want her to continue creating quality work -- giving it away or downloading it for free from a file sharing site really damages a model's viability and personally, I think that's why so many models these days are short-lived, because it SUCKS to spend thousands of dollars on shoots just to have one guy download it and share it with the world. It makes me really sad. It's one thing when it's one of two full galleries but half my site is a bit off-putting. (thinking I'm gonna regret this blog when people google me for free shit) :(

So I just posted and backdated two blog entries for 4/15 and 4/17 so check them out and don't worry more of my Euro blog will be up soon! Things have been a little crazy--good and bad... One of my childhood cats had to be euthanized which really sucked, I had some bad family news and I've also been swamped getting back into the swing of things. It's all going to be ok though.

I spent last night just having a lot of fun, which I needed. I had a shoot during the day then I met the boy at Saks since I had to get a clasp fixed on a necklace he bought me there for my anniversary. So OF COURSE I had to go look at shoes. I tried on like 15 pairs of Louboutins I loved but then I saw these motherfucking beauties. They look cool just on the shelf--but wait until you see these on my feet!!!! So, $1100 poorer we left and went to one of my favorite sake/Japanese restaurants in the city Sakagura. That place is just incredible. I always get smashed on the delicious sake they have there. It was divine. Then we met up with some friends and wound up drinking on their private rooftop later since it was such a beautiful night! Of course later we got home and I put on those new Dior Blue Angel Sandals and...

Also, I'd like to thank *you know who you are* for the amazing DSquared stilettos and I'd also like to thank whoever sent me the anonymous gift from Cameo Intimates.

I'm shooting some exclusive new stuff for the site on Thursday in a super-swanky hotel suite and you know I'll be shooting the new Dior shoes then! I can't wait!

After SF, Ruby's Visit, Getting to Fetish Evolution

After SF began the panic to be prepped for my 3 week excursion to Europe. I normally do not like to travel away from home for more than 10 days to 2 weeks at a time. Not only do I do shoots but I run my entire business for myself. This means I run my site, edit photos, do sessions, shoots, blogging, promo, auctions, blah blah blah on a day to day basis. When I travel I have to make sure I have enough updates edited to cover my trip--and this one was gonna be long so I had a lot to do! Basically every waking moment was spent getting prepped (I only had a week) -- add in training at the gym and a full shoot schedule and I was overwhelmed! I unfortunately had to cancel a few things...

Anyway, on March 15 I surprised and took the boy out to a special dinner commemorating our first date 5 years prior--it was delish! Unfortunately I was naughty and drank too much and was an hour late to my shoot the next morning...!

On the 17th my dear friend Ruby Luster arrived at my place and as soon as she got here, she quickly got ready to go out to lunch at my favorite Thai restaurant in the East Village with my friend and MUA Sutan and his boyfriend Jake. We had a great lunch! Then I decided to take all of them to Bergdorf Goodman because none of them had ever been! Unfortunately I was STUPID and forgot it was St. Patty's day so traffic was atrocious getting up there. We should have taken the subway but we're all divas so we took a cab uptown. We finally had to get out and walk -- the traffic was so horrible because of the parade. But we finally made it!

It was oddly dead inside which was kinda nice! We tried on lots of shoes but behaved ourselves since we knew we'd probably spend lots of cash in Europe. Eventually Sutan and Jake left so me and Ruby went to the restaurant at Bergdorf's and sipped champagne. That's pretty much how the next few days were before we left for Europe. We'd go to the gym, shop (why oh why is everything at Alexander McQueen like $10k?), eat, have a "drink" which would turn into a dozen, then stay up all night while I tried to edit photos wasted. Ruby's now gotten to see me at my most neurotic. Good times.

Then the time came for me, Ruby and the boy to head out to Newark to catch our flight to Cologne. I called 2 days before to get a big SUV to pick us up with plenty of time to get to the airport since I knew that we'd have a lot of stuff. I also purposely booked a direct flight so we wouldn't have to worry about transferring and possibly getting our luggage delayed since 2 years prior when I went to FE and was shooting my Marquis cover my luggage did not make my connection (luckily I got it soon thereafter). I figured--no connection, luggage would be fine! (HA!)

First, we almost didn't make it to the airport because the traffic was sooooo bad. When we got there, the lines were atrocious so Ruby used boobie power to get us to the front of the line. We made it just in time for boarding. The flight was empty, so the three of us all got rows to ourselves, got drunk, watched movies and slept. When we got to Cologne, we watched all of our bags come through one by one--but one of Ruby's was missing!!!!! The very thing I was trying to avoid!!! Obviously she was very distraught! They had no idea where it was. I had a feeling it would be on the same flight coming in on the following day (which it was) but Ruby was understandably upset. I mean, us ladies travel with our lives and our precious wardrobe and shoes many of which are irreplaceable, valuable and sentimental. I swear, every time I travel it's a gamble. Luckily her bag arrived the following morning...More to come...

San Francisco Diary 3/6-3/9

Ok, I'm finally catching up...This trip was good and bad--the good part being that I got to spend a lot of nice quality time with N--we worked out at our gym in San Fran together each day which was really nice since I usually work out during the day here in NYC, and he works out when he gets off work. So we kinda got to train together which was kinda romantic.

*Warning--this is where my stream of consciousness starts* I also got to see tons of old friends and I even got to make some new ones. I ate delicious food and braved the SF Hills wearing 6" Alexander McQueen heels. I had horrible eye pain and went to the doctor (Not fun). I stuck a water bottle up a friends' ass and have the video to prove it. I learned to hate taxis in SF. I drank absinthe and was treated to a fine home-cooked feast by my Fetish Evolution co-host Paul Nathan. I got pissed off at the Ball so I did something very naughty which led 6 of my hot friends (and an artist named Hussar--you're hot too man...) to do the same (I'll never tell). I got so angry I was in tears. I went to the wharf and took pictures of the sea lions. I ate cream and drank hot coffee at the same time. I had delicious Thai food. I looked like a sad panda (inside joke). And I will never attend the SF Fetish Ball again.

On the other hand--I did a wonderful shoot with Vance for Antiseptic Fashion where my wonderful friend Linh did my hair. I love Linh.

Sorry I haven't blogged yet about my trip, it's been hectic since I got back and I've had to deal with some stuff, but I'm getting to it! I'll blog in increments in the next few days and backdate them (example:it's actually the 17th but I'm dating this the 10th) since it's easier than writing one huge chunk and posting it as one day. So look out for that. I hope everyone is well and thank god for Spring!

So I was walking to the gym, dressed somewhat normally--jeans, Louboutins, tight sweater, ipod...when I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was a kid--must've been like 14 who was holding 5 singles and asked if I would "show him (and his equally young friends) my tits for $5". LOL. My response was "It's gonna take a lot more than $5". Man, kids these days. Normally I'd deck a guy who would approach me like that but how the hell am I gonna deck a kid?????

Another note: 5" stilettos and a red dress will get you a taxi on 42nd street during evening rush hour, no matter how grim it looks.

I'm back in NYC again. I'm exhausted. I had tons of fun but am really really sick of airports. Insanely sick of them. I traveled to Germany, UK, Portugal, back to the UK and then Switzerland this trip. Airport drama at nearly every destination. I spent 2 hours in passport control in Newark yesterday and Heathrow can seriously suck it. Ugh. Anyway...Here's a pic Martin Perreault took of me and Bianca Beauchamp backstage at Fetish Evolution. I'm wearing custom Atsuko Kudo because I love them to bits.

Here's my co-host Paul Nathan doing a magic trick onstage at the main event. It was a card trick involving my face, some cards and a bullwhip. Luckily it went well (if anyone remembers the yo-yo incident of yesteryear, lol).

Here's me and the boy at the Friday night party. I'm pretty drunk here but I think it's a cute pic of us. I'm wearing Vex and he's wearing the Dolce & Gabanna suit I got him for Xmas.
