"I Heart Puimond" was shot by Barry Underhill in Dallas in November 2008 and features Puimond's new leather criss-cross strapped plunge corset! BTW, Puimond is auctioning some samples on ebay right now (and well, if anyone wants to toss me that 20" brocade corset dress, I won't object!).

I hope everyone is having a happy holiday season! I've been hangin' with family and close friends so it's been a good one! I'm looking forward to 2009 though! Updates are forthcoming tomorrow and all should be back on schedule starting this week. Looking forward to planning my next LA trip soon and getting back to a somewhat normal schedule! The holiday season is fun but it really fucks up my normal groove, so to speak. I'm itching to get back into the full swing of things!

Anyway FLESHBOT was kind enough to feature me again (which reminds me I owe Lux over there an interview I promised to do MONTHS ago). This time it was coverage of the Dr. Sketchy's Bettie Page tribute I did last week! Check it out here!

This Saturday's 3rd year anniversary and Bettie Page tribute at Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School was sooooo much fun! My friend Dani came over and transformed me into Bettie--using my own hair! I kind of can't stand wigs so I'm happy she was able to create magic without having to pile on a hot wig! She completely transformed me--in fact when I headed to Rated X later in the evening to meet up with some friends, Michael T didn't even recognize me (I noticed this immediately as he looked at me like I was insane when I came up and starting babbling to him an apology for not being out in so long) and I've known him for 15 years! When I was like, you have no idea who I am, he was like HOLY SHIT! LOL! Anyway, it was kind of fun being sorta incognito...!

Anyway, the event started with me jumping out of a huge birthday cake since it was the event's 3rd anniversary. Then I held lots of uncomfortable positions for varying lengths of time while being sketched. I actually totally dug it and had a lot of fun! Thanks so much to Molly Crabapple and the whole Sketchy's crew for having me there and thank you to all the artists who came out! So far I've only gotten photos of myself from the event, but if you were there sketching, EMAIL ME IMAGES OF YER SKETCHES, 'cause I wanna seeeeeee!!!!!! It looks like I'll be doing it again at the end of February (gotta check my travel schedule first to be totally sure!).
